Fire crews attacked by rockets
Fire crews in Stenhousemuir were attacked with rockets as they rushed to put out a rogue bonfire reportedly spiked with gas canisters.
Police were summoned as back-up after the rescuers’ fire appliance had rockets aimed at it, and crews were abused and reportedly verbally threatened.
The incident happened last night on open ground at South View Street, Stenhousemuir, where the blaze was brought under control by 7pm.

Hide AdTwo youths at the scene reportedly suffered face injuries, one needing hospital treatment, as the bonfire flared.
SFRS crew are said to have provided emergency first aid using kit carried in the appliance.
No further injuries were reported.
