Twin town visitors arrive

CELEBRATIONS to mark Falkirk's twinning links with Creteil and the Odenwald will take place this weekend.
Tomorrow (Friday) visitors from the towns in France and Germany will be welcomed with a civic reception marking the 10th, 25th and 30th anniversaries of the links with former and current councils.

Musicians and dancers from the Odenwald and a rock band from Creteil will join local music-makers including the Young Traditional Music
Project, Junior Gaelic Choir, Falkirk Folk Club, the Urban Stompers,
Polish dancers, Sunny Stars Drama School and the Jenkins School of Highland Dance.

Entertainment will be on in Bo'ness from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Grangemouth from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and in Falkirk High Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
