Wedding of the week ... Emma Smith and Scott Ferguson

EMMA (24), originally of Stenhousemuir, is a care worker. Charles (25) was born in Canada and brought up in Hallglen. He is an off-shore electrician for Sparrows.
The couple, with sons Tyler (5) and Hayden (3), live in Longdyke Place, Carronshore.

WHERE THEY MET: Emma and Scott first met each other at a friend's party in 2002.

THE PROPOSAL: Scott invited Emma for a candlelit, three-course dinner in his house in 2002. During the meal Scott got down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him. It was a total surprise to Emma.

THE WEDDING: The marriage ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Cliff Rennie in Larbert Old Parish Church on June 21, 2008. There were 90 family members and friends at the ceremony. Over 150 guests attended the evening reception in the Beancross in Grangemouth.

THE BRIDE'S OUTFIT: Emma wore a white dress with a long train. The bodice was covered in Sworovski crystals and feathers.

THE BRIDAL PARTY: The bridesmaids were Deborah Smith, Danielle Jones, Lana Kinnaird, Alicia McCulloch and Lauren Smith. Sons Tyler and Hayden were page boys, and Calum Ferguson was the best man.

THE HONEYMOON: Emma and Scott had a short break at Loch Fyne.
