The marriage of Yvonne Liddle and Richard Linning
THE COUPLE: Yvonne Linning (nee Liddle), of Falkirk, is 23 and a teacher of modern languages in Edinburgh. Richard Linning (23) is originally from Stenhousemuir and is a bus driver. They live at 15 Glenbank, Glen Village.

WHERE THEY MET: Yvonne and Richard first met at a holiday club in St Andrew's West Church, Falkirk, in 2000.

THE PROPOSAL: In December 2006, while walking along the river bank
at South Queensferry, Richard went down on one knee and asked Yvonne to marry him.

THE WEDDING: The service took place in St. Andrew's West Church by the Rev. Alastair Horne on July 25, 2008. There were 100 at the ceremony and 180 at the evening reception in The Three Kings, Shieldhill.

THE BRIDE'S OUTFIT: Yvonne wore an ivory Jade Daniel sparkling gown with a huge train. The dress came from The Enchanted Room, Brightons.

THE BRIDAL PARTY: The three bridesmaids - who each wore a dress in a different shade of pink - were Jennifer Garvin, Heather Tooth and Karen Edwards. The flowergirl was Rachel Billingsley. The bestman was Stewart Winning and the ushers were Alan Liddle and Stephen Edwards.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent time at Crieff Hydro and York.

THANKS: Special thanks are extended to Aunty Marlyn; and thanks are extended to both sets of parents, the bridal party and family and friends for making it a special day.
