Wedding of the Week ... Debbie McKinna and Robert Sutherland

DEBBIE is 23 and a nursery nurse at Cherry Tree Nursery in Polmont and was brought up in Hallglen. Robert (26) is a scaffolder with Deborah Services, Longannet. He is originally from Grangemouth.
The couple now live at The Maltings, Falkirk.

WHERE THEY MET: The couple met through a friend at a night out in Falkirk on July 26, 2002.

THE PROPOSAL: Robert popped the question at the Ashley House bar in Bo'ness Road, Grangemouth, on November 22, 2002. It came as a surprise for Debbie.

THE WEDDING: The marriage ceremony was conducted at Gretna Green on July 11, 2008.

THE BRIDE'S OUTFIT: Debbie wore a pale pink dress covered in crystals.

THE BRIDAL PARTY: The bridesmaid was Erin Liddell, and the best man was Dean McKinna, Debbie's brother.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent their honeymoon in glorious sunshine on the Maldives, in the North Indian Ocean.
