Wedding of the Week ... Elaine Sinclair and Graeme Mitchell

ELAINE is 33 and Falkirk–born. She works with Giles Insurance Brokers, formerly Crosbie &Jack, in Falkirk. Graeme (35) is also a Falkirk Bairn and works with Aegon Scottish Equitable in Edinburgh.
The couple live in Limerigg.

WHERE THEY MET: The couple first met when Graeme served Elaine in a carpet shop in Falkirk in 2004. He lived in Linlithgow, but moved to Limerigg where he was a near neighbour of Elaine.

THE PROPOSAL: In a total surprise, Graeme proposed to Elaine a minute into her 32nd birthday in November 2006.

THE WEDDING: The wedding took place in Airdrie Registry Office on June 21, 2008, and the ceremony was conducted by Registrar Jean Lavelle. The reception took place in the Tudor Hotel, Airdrie.

THE BRIDE'S OUTFIT: Elaine wore a lace ball gown with bolero top. The designer was Ben De Lisi.

THE BRIDAL PARTY: The bridesmaids were Fiona Sinclair and Demi Johnstone; and the flowergirl was Amy Guerts. The bestman was Darren Morrison and the usher was David Mitchell. Both males wore kilts.

THE HONEYMOON: They found an idyllic spot in North Devon cottage.
