The birth of Neve Campbell-McDonald
THE DETAILS: Neve Shona Campbell–McDonald was born in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Sunday, April 20, at 2.30 p.m., weighing in at 8lb 5oz.
THE PARENTS: Dianne Campbell (26) is originally from Bainsford and Scot McDonald (27) was brought up in Helmsdale, south of Wick. He is a joiner to trade. The family live at 3 Dunkeld Place, Langlees, Falkirk.
THE PREGNANCY: Dianne, who has a son, Aiden, aged seven, said: "It was easier the second time around."
THE BIRTH: Quick and easy, with just five hours from the start of labour to birth.
THE BABY: Neve is a ''little angel'' and good sleeper.
THE NAME: It was a name that both parents liked.
THE GRANDPARENTS: The grandparents are Shona Campbell, and Esther and Hamish McDonald, who all live in Helmsdale.
THANKS: Thanks are extended to Stirling Royal Infirmary's maternity unit and midwives; and to relatives and friends for their lovely presents and best wishes. Special thanks are extended to Dianne's sister, Lynette, for being her birthing partner.
