The Birth of Lily-Grace Gray
THE DETAILS: Lily-Grace Elaine Gray was born in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at 8.26 p.m., weighing in at 6lb 15oz.

THE PARENTS: Lauren Gray (nee Mitchell) is 27 and originally from Polmont. She is a nursery manager. Martyn Gray (31), who was brought up in Brightons, is a gas manager. The couple, new baby and two–year–old Mitchell, live at 16 Morven Drive, Polmont.

THE PREGNANCY: There were no problems throughout the nine months. Lily–Grace arrived two days before her due date - just like her brother.

THE BIRTH: After just 20 minutes in the labour room the birth was straightforward.

THE BABY: Lily–Grace has been brilliant since coming home and feeds and sleeps well.

THE NAME: Lily–Grace was a name the couple liked and Elaine is after Lauren's mother.

THE GRANDPARENTS: The happy grannies and grandpas are Elaine and Ian Mitchell, Polmont; and Dot and John Gray, Brightons.

THANKS: Sincere thanks are extended to the Poppy Team at Stirling Royal Infirmary's maternity unit; and family and friends for their lovely presents and good wishes.
