The birth of Kyal Hendry
THE DETAILS: Kyal Mark Fairley Hendry was born in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at 4.09 p.m., weighing 6lb 1oz.
THE PARENTS: Theresa O'Donnell (25) was brought up in Stenhousemuir and is a technical adviser for Sky TV. Mark Hendry (28) is originally from Denny and is a taxi driver. The family, including seven-year-old Aaron William John Hendry, live in Eastcroft Street, Larbert.
THE PREGNANCY: The nine months went fairly well with nothing to worry about.
THE BIRTH: The birth took place ten days after the due date after the baby was induced. The labour took just two hours.
THE BABY: Kyal is fine and well and is now putting on weight.
THE NAME: Kyal is the name of an Australian actor they liked and the other two are family names.
THE GRANDPARENTS: The grannies and grandpa are Christine O'Donnell, Stenhousemuir; and Linda and Bill Hendry, of Denny.
