The birth of Anna Stoddart
THE DETAILS: Anna Stoddart was born in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at 11.37 p.m., weighing in at 9lbs.

THE PARENTS: Helen Stoddart
(nee Rae) is 27 and originally from Stenhousemuir. Leslie Stoddart (32) is formerly from Bainsford and is the operations manager of The Falkirk Stadium. The couple, who live in Buchan Avenue, Bainsford, also have a two–year–old son Andrew.

THE PREGNANCY: There were some complications at the five– and six–month stage but everything turned out all right in the end.

THE BIRTH: Anna was born by Caesarean section after a 23–hour labour.

THE BABY: The infant is a very contented baby who sleeps well.
There are no complaints from the mum and dad.

THE NAME: Anna is a name both parents could agree on.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Jeanette and Alistair Rae of Stenhousemuir, and Pam and Roger Stoddart of Bainsford.
