Baby of the Week ... Mica Weston

MICA Weston was born in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Monday, August 11, at 10.53 p.m., weighing in at 7lb 3oz.
THE PARENTS: Joanna Weston (nee Hanlon) is formerly of Falkirk and a 26-year-old accounts administrator with Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh. Alan Weston is 26 and was brought up in Stenhousemuir and is a mechanical engineer with MB Aerospace, Motherwell. The family live in Fernlea Grove, Carronshore.

THE PREGNANCY: It was straightforward and there were no problems.

THE BIRTH: Joanne said it was long and tiring, but well worth it in the end.

THE BABY: Mica, who is a happy and contented infant, surprised everyone by being born with two teeth.

THE NAME: It was a name Joanna and Alan had heard and liked.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Mica is a first grandchild for Lorraine and Joe Hanlon, Stenhousemuir; and Lorraine and Joe Weston, Stenhousemuir.

THANKS: Sincere thanks are extended to the maternity unit staff at Stirling Royal Infirmary, especially the Bluebell team.
