Baby of the Week ... Colin Douglas Hardie

COLIN Douglas Hardie was born in Stirling Royal Infirmary on July 9, at 10.42 p.m., weighing in at 8lb 1oz.
THE PARENTS: Ruth Hardie (nee Fleming) is originally from Stockton-on-Tees. She is 39 and works in Asda Distribution Centre in Bainsford. David Hardie (29) is from Falkirk, and works as a driver with Asda in Grangemouth. The family live in Main Street, Bainsford.

THE PREGNANCY: All went fairly smoothly.

THE BIRTH: It was a very quick birth with the baby being born in Stirling Royal Infirmary just an hour after leaving the house.

THE BABY: Ruth said that Colin is a very good wee lad and he sleeps well.

THE NAME: The new baby was named after two late uncles.
