Ross Fowler, 45, initially turned up at Falkirk Sheriff Court having pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drugs in Kersiebank Avenue, Grangemouth, and failure to provide a specimen of blood on September 12.

Gordon Addison, defence solicitor, told Sheriff Alison Michie he had seen Fowler in court but had subsequently made himself scarce.

"His report was bad,” said Mr Addison. “He was here but he is no longer here.”

Sheriff Michie issued an arrest warrant for Fowler, 23 Cultenhove Crescent, Grangemouth.
