A boy has been awarded £12,500 damages after his face was scarred in an accident at M&D's in Strathclyde Park.

The youngster, aged 10, suffered a serious wound to his chin when he slipped on wooden steps at the Devil’s Island crazy golf.

The golf club he was holding had a bit of its rubber grip missing and he was cut by the exposed ragged metal edge.
