Bainsford road closed after two vehicle crash

A road in Bainsford has been closed by police following a two vehicle collision.

Officers were called to the incident on Mungalhead Road at around 10am this morning.

The road is currently closed between Philip Street and Gibsongray Street.

All three emergency services are reportedly in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10am on Thursday, 8 December, 2022, officers were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on Mungalhead Road, Falkirk.

“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”

On its social media, Falkirk Police are asking people to find an alternative route while the closure is in place.
